8 by 12 giclee print of Sewing original oil on panel
Original oil painting of “sewing” a self portrait set in my dining room. Both of My grandmothers and Aunties were seamstresses. I often use sewing in my portraits to indicate a magical act of creation and find myself doing portraits of sewing when great change is occurring in my life. This painting was done with the Vermeer method. The original is in a private collection, my Moms.
This open edition giclee is archival and will last a lifetime when framed and kept out of direct sunlight. The size and color are as close to the original as possible.
